Latest exercise: 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel demonstrate their ARCTIC EXPEDITIONARY CAPABILITIES!

This training event was recorded Sep. 6, 2019 and involved U.S. Marines with 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and U.S. Navy Sailors bringing assault amphibious vehicles and LCACs aboard the USS Somerset (LPD-25).

Conducted in the Aleutian Islands and south-central Alaska Sept. 1-28: Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE) is an approximately 3000 personnel strong INDOPACOM joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic region and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
