In this video we start out by doing some more frame pulling to maybe try and see if the old quarter can be saved. Since there are no brackets to pull from it came down to welding on some metal plates in the damaged areas. Since the type of material used on the exterior is Galvanized Steel, it is a health risk if welding improperly. With galvanized steel you need to grind off as much of the zinc coating as possible before doing any welding. We then started cutting and drilling out the Rocker, B pillar, as well as the Quarter Panel. We actually removed the quarter after drilling it out. It got pretty late towards the end and we wanted to get this video out to you guys!! So we decided to do the rest of the work in the next part. Stay tuned for that part where we Drill out the rocker and finish with the B Pillar as well as a few different parts of the frame area.
