2019 Toyota RAV4 - Turn Signal LEDs With Integrated Load Resistor May Cause Damage.

In this video we are removing rear lights to replace stock halogen turn signal bulbs with LEDs. Everything was going well, LEDs were working fine. No hyperflashing was observed because LEDs had integrated load resistor.

But exactly for that reason another problem became clear shortly. Because of the integrated load resistor the LED bulbs got extremely hot. To the point where they could potentially melt or damage the light assembly or even cause a fire.

For now we are sticking with the stock bulbs :)

Bulb size for the tail lights is 7440, for the front 7443.
