Fixing a Broken Mower Deck Spindle (Arbor Shaft) - Simplicity or similar models

With all this rain the grass has been growing great! Now if my mower would work I could start cutting it! Here is a repair on a Simplicity mower deck arbor shaft (spindle) that went well in the end but there were a few bumps along the road.
